Would there be any modeling involved as well?

Based on my short time with Keyscape so far, I'd say no. Samples and synthesized tones, just like Omnisphere and Trillian.

OK...here's a question for anyone who has got Keyscape and installed it.  I was planning on installing mine to an external SSD drive which is just a bit bigger than Keyscape requires.  However, I already have both Omnisphere and Trilian on an internal Libraries drive...which is full.  It seems that Spectrasonics is trying to force you to have all three programs/libraries installed on the same drive.  This not only defeats the purpose of putting Keyscapes on the faster SSD but, seemingly, makes it impossible to do.  Does anyone know if there is any way regarding the STEAM folder to have Omni/Trilian on one drive and Keyscapes on another??

There is not, according to Spectrasonics. You can, however, move your STEAM folder.

OK, so this is a theory but might work for you.
I have my STEAM folder on a separate drive from the actual plugins and an "ALIAS" or STEAM folder shortcut points the plugins to the folder.
I am wondering if you create your Keyscape STEAM folder on your SSD drive and point the alias for Keyscape to that one without interfering with your other STEAM folder.

Just a thought,

Won't work. The entire STEAM folder must be in the same place. There is a support FAQ on Spectrasonics site that expliciy spells this out for Keyscape users that already have Omnisphere or Trillian. You can move the entire folder, alias it with a shortcut, and install Keyscape to the new location.

By by the way, you must have a Spectrasonics account and be logged in to see the Keyscape install FAQ, which is kind of weird.

Welp...I guess I'll have to see if Amazon will let me exchange for a bigger drive. Dern.

OK...Exchanged my SSD for a bigger one at Amazon...no probs.  It and a set of new memory sticks for the DAW (which will double my memory to 24gigs) should be here late tomorrow and, hopefully, I'll have everything...Ominshpere, Trilian and Keyscape...installed on the new drive and up and running on Friday.  Fingers crossed.
