So this is a Repeat of Slate's announcement? :-)

Seriously, this looks like D16 is trying to outdo Echoboy, with the vintage-style GUI and emulations of classic delays. Will be comparing these two, for sure.

Cheers,
Eddie

Reminds me of a TC Electronics 2290 rack mount delay ala the Edge from U2...

Looks like a typical D16 offering...a UI designed for 80's-era 15" monitors but worth the eyestrain because it'll sound great. The delay market is pretty crowded already, but this one could still be a winner if it's priced comparably to their older effects, e.g. $45 with occasional sales and maybe a can't-say-no introductory price.

I'm with you Bit - I'll probably bite when the right price comes along. I find I really like Fazortan and fine I use it quite often. I am also a fan of Punchbox. Their instruments don't fit me but that's just a workflow/creative thing but their effects are just fantastic.

That reminds - I need to spend some time with their flanger that came with Fazortan.

Don't assume anything about the UI size.  D16 has reissued two of the Silverline series and added a new one.  All of these offer considerably improved UIs over the original six plug-ins in that collection.  I believe we can look forward to the rest of the Silverline collection being upgraded to version 2 incarnations over the next year or two.  I don't think this delay will be included in Silverline, but it does look a whole lot like the other new versions in that series so I could be wrong on that point.
