Hi all
 
After many years of using Sonar 7 Producer Edition I'm tempted to purchase Sonar X3. 
 
I was wondering if anyone knows if X3 will play projects previously created with Sonar 7.

Short answer is yes.
 
7 Pro was the last version I had before the X series, and can still open them easily. The plug-ins you have in your project will be the "issue" unless you also have them on the X3 machine.
 
Also bear in mind the "system requirements" of X3 prior to an upgrade! There was a thread on this just a few days ago (cannot put X3 on an XP machine).
