I'm usually playing a different genre...but I thought, what the heck? I'll record this one because I like the song. I like the old spiritual feel that the song has. I decided to keep the mix simple...as in a piano and a vocalist. The last time I did a religious song it went over on SC like a lead balloon, but I don't really care...should I? So this was just a kind of whim and I feel better now :)
I didn't elaborate too much on the keys because I wanted the song to be more vocal focused. Comments appreciated!

Nice job, Tim.   About the only nit-pick (and it is a nit) I'd have is that a few of the lower piano notes seem to hold a bit long when using the sustain pedal so result in slight overtone "beats" with the next chord. 
 
That said, it takes a little something extra to do an essentially unadorned rendition of something like this, and to do it well.    I think ya got it.
