I don't listen to many things on here, they fall outside my tastes too much, but I like a bit of Bon Ivor so gave it a listen. I don't know the original, but I liked this, I liked the vocal how it pulled forwards, the washiness that seems akin to Bon Ivor. 
 
One thing seems odd to me though, was the stereo balance. Seemed to be leaning to the right. The bass and piano sat the side and the vocal didn't seem dead centre. I double checked on my headphones and confirmed. Maybe it's something at my end, but I couldn't see anything in my set up and seemed ok when I checked it against another recording

I am not familiar with Bon Ivor so I looked him up on google and checked out his version of Wash. Nice song, and I enjoyed the simplicity of it.
 
Your version is a nice adaptation of the original, with the addition of nice and easy percussion... It works well.
 
I can hear what Kamikaze is saying about the vocals being slightly to the right, but I can't make up my mind if that matters or not. As it is, I find it okay to my taste.

That's a real shame dood... We could do with more peeps popping into the Song forum. I have a narrow musical taste too, but I am listening to pretty much everything here, regardless of genre, song content or quality. I find it really interesting to hear what other peeps are doing with their equipment, and I am learning a lot in the bargain.
 
And why not add an example of your work? I'd love to hear what you are doing with that breath controller of yours

I wouldn't say my tastes were narrow, but they lean away from guitar dominant music in general, where as the forum leans into it (in general).

I  really like this song, and I appreciate being introduced to a new artist.  This song flows easily from start to finish, and your vocal is very good.  Hope to hear more.

Bon Iver is a band rather than a person, btw, though the name does sound like a person (It's a play on words, but I forget why, something about French), so misleads. 'Skinny Love' and 'Stacks' are their more know stuff I guess (I don't know more recent to really judge or comment) but are worth checking.

Thanks for the feedback -- i'll definitely go back and re-check the balance.  It is a little off-topic but the following video uses an impactful cover of Bon Iver's Skinny Love in a love letter to NYC - kinda cool if you are into time lapse and music.

Fair enough, although I disagree with the "guitar dominant" comment... and even the guitar stuff is great.

Justin Vernon and Sean Carey in the studio.  Aside from making beautiful music, it just looks like they are enjoying themselves.  Also it is inspiring how minimalistic they are in the approach.
