Yes I'm using the x64 version before its asked. I've checked the about section just to verify something wasn't screwed up.
My directories goes like this
C:\Music Production\Plugins\VST Instruments\32 Bit Instruments\*Vendor name*\*Plugin name*\.dll
C:\Music Production\Plugins\VST Instruments\64 Bit Instruments\*Vendor name*\*Plugin name*\.dll
C:\Music Production\Plugins\VST Effects\32 Bit Effects\*Vendor name*\*Plugin name*\.dll
C:\Music Production\Plugins\VST Effects\64 Bit Effects\*Vendor name*\*Plugin name*\.dll
Now everything looks right in the Sonar preferences...I could of made it scan my directories at C:\Music Production\Plugins\
and just stop there, but I didn't feel the need to include an extra jBridge Folder when there's bit bridge. So this is My Vst preferences.
After rescan and opening the drop down menus to insert a VST I am only left with VST2 -Plugin name- (32-Bit) All are found yes.
Then also "1 VST3 plugin I know theres more VST3 plugins but thats for another time"
and Direct X which I can care less about.
But nothing saying (64-Bit) at all. I was planning to use only the x64 version of X3 since it has bit bridge and I wouldn't need to open an alternate x86 version...but it seems like the whole purpose is gone here.
I'm 100% sure my x64 plugins work in other daws this way...but I could never get the plugin menus the way I want them in Sonar...there's always a area missing. Do I need to make a plugin layout? Even when I go there they are still not listed. There when I try to go under VST Configuration and click Options or Plug-in Properties I get this every time.
Some of you never have a problem with the menus, but it seems like I always do going from S4 SE, S5 SE, S8 PE, X1 - X3 PE. Can anyone help me out with this one because I am really lost on this please?
