When i started x2 i always create a new project choosing ' blank' and rename it after first save. When i open it i can find it in the projects folder as an icon only (x2) with the title of the song beside it. It didnt bother me with that until i had a clean install. I wanted to minimize the cakewalks project file that i can load only a project song i want but its impossible unless i copy all the audio folder ( 176Gb) and a project i want from external hd where i saved the whole cw projects prior to clean install. QUESTION: If i will copyr them all in the internal hd (and wash car while waiting), is there a way i can make/do so that each song and its audio/ audio data will reside in a folder within the cw project? Thanks .

After importing, I know you can choose (In Preferences) to save Per-Project Audio. That way, you won't have all your sessions saving audio RAW files in the same location for all those sessions/projects. Check out Page 1175 in the X2 Reference Guide here: http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/product.aspx/SONAR-X2

Hopefully that will help.
