Well blow me down! Would you look at that. I've imported them and they've all put themselves in the right places. Who'd have thunk it? Thanks people. I now have a new problem. She wants the song in a different key. I've not transposed audio for a few years. Remember it being a total pain with unusable results. I think I should save this question for a new thread.

Thanks again.

I'm starting to understand why she had a bad experience with the previous studio/tech, haha. Good luck! :p

I hope she's paying you well LOL! Honestly, if you transpose the audio, it won't sound right.

Actually there is Pro Convert by SSL and AATranslator, both of which convert between DAWs, but they are both paid software and have limited ProTools support (the former only goes up to 7).

While ProConvert may be limited to version 7 of PT for the PC, AATranslator on the other hand will read from version 5 of PT up to and including version 10 and probably version 11 (we haven't finalised testing of version 11 PTX files yet).
AATranslator will also read far more detail than ProConvert can from any version of PT.
I suspect that my understanding of the term 'limited' may differ somewhat

That's great to hear. I actually have never used either, I'm going by hearsay. Much better to have a developer give input about cans and can'ts.
