I don't know what to say... I've been on this particular project for so long now it's hardly believable.
 
Much has changed, and not all for the best I'm sure.
 
I even dusted my crappy nearfields off to see if they could help in my polishing quest.

I can hear the work gone on this, the lead synths are really well chosen. 
 
Mix and production sound good to me. Maybe the snare is lost little,more high end crack, others to clarify that.
 
Breakdown is slight but just enough and you right, this is happy music.

Yeah, that's my fault that. I've don't some quite extensive EQ modifications to all fifteen tracks in an effort to get them to fit together. Took me hours and hours LOL! I dialed out a lot of the "crack" at first but I noticed that and put some back. Perhaps not quite enough ...
 
It was a good exercise though, because I've learned a lot about SPAN and EQ in general.

That was all one synth by the way... I kind of forgot to mention that, because this is a "latest version." So everything was played by u-he's latest release Hive, except for EQ and Limiting.

I was hoping the bass wasn't too overpowering this version... It's tough to work out though, through headphones, and even though I dusted off my nearfields to check the mix at the end, they're not that good... I think the low end response is a terrible 60Hz.
 
 
I really appreciate all the nice comments here... It can't be that easy listening to something that is electronic and doesn't even have lyrics, so, yeah... Thanks everyone

Hey Andy, great job on this.  Sometimes we are our own worst critics.  This sounds quite good, and you should consider it done!  I love the call-and-answer interplay between the left and right leads.  Backgrounds are nice and swirly, while the bass is laying down a solid groove, but without being too hard-edged about it.  Stick a fork in it, it's done! :)
