@soundraider - you can use several different screencast utilities. I use microsoft expression personally.

Thanks ... I just had an experiment with CamStudio ... had a bit of an issue to get the sound included ... but in the first try the video/sound is not playing smooth. I will need to experiment with it.

set your audio options to wasapi or wdm instead of asio that way the drivers can be shared with the screen recorder.  that's always a pain...

Done ... hope this will do ... the musical content is embarrassing ... sorry for that ... but it's supposed to be a proof of concept only.

For demonstration the arp is feeded with a bar of a single cord only. After start all tracks play - then I siwtch to the Cream tracks, disable Cream tracks 1 and 3, and reactivate them in reversed order. Should demonstrate that there is no crosstalk and each instrument plays it's own Cream-track only ... if I am not completely mistaken ;)

Thanks ... but got it done via ASIO4ALL. Just had to change something at the mixer. But I think I messed something up with my last post and the link to YouTube. At least between the tags there is the correct link.

ok! nice job for a first vid... :D
the issue that we're having here is multiple instances of cream using midi out at the same time.  i thought you had that working somehow!  perhaps i misread your other post, but that's what i concluded from your posts.
if you can get that working i'd like to see!

btw... the vids are totally fun to do and are invaluable when dealing with support questions!

Well a second try ... Sonar X3b with 2 instances of  Cream. I hope it is obvious that both active voices/tracks play different tunes.

BUT HONESTLY ... I must tell this ... I had a lot of crashes ;) and I don't know why this happened this time. The other day no crashes at all ?????

not a cream bug no, a multiple instances of any midi-out vsts, long standing sonar bug,try searching the forum

That was unnecessary.  I didn't know what the issue was so I could hardly search for the issue regarding midi-out vsts.

ok SoundRaider... now, do me a favor..
instead of using a male voice in kontakt (it has limited key range, so isn't replicating the pattern) use two synths with full range, each inputting from a separate instance of cream on different midi channels (the first instance on channel 1, the second instance on channel 2).
record the midi tracks for the receiving synths and compare the results.
delete the recorded midi.
then, set the inputs for the synths to cream 1-channel 10 and cream 2-channel 12.
record the tracks again, and tell me what you wind up with...

This is THE best arpeggiator plugin. I saw a similar thread in their official forum in KVR. I am sure Arto must be working on a fix as we speak.

sorry ULTRABRA, should've quoted the above, was trying to put focus on sonar rather than cream for the fix :)
