Hi,
Is it safe to go for UAD-2 version 7.3 with X3b?
 
I also need to solve a problem I am facing now. X3 managed to scan several versions of the UAD-2 plugins.
How do I safely get rid of the old ones and keep only the new ones?

You can uninstall UAD stuff and then manually delete all the folders with the plugins... then install the new version and take note of what directly they are placed.  I haven't installed 7.3 yet but haven't heard of problems except on a MAC with the new version (since been fixed for the MAC).

PS - if you feel brave, you can just delete all the folders with the plugins without an uninstall and just install 7.3
