I recently added a third monitor to my setup and installed a new video card- Asus Radeon 7790 connecting an hdmi cable to my main HD tv display and two dvi connected HP monitors.  Everything  seems to work great, BUT, when I am using Sonar and place various views such as console, or PRV or an instrument  in the two HP displays they just won't stay there.  Every time I save or there is an autosave everything pops back into the main display.  Since I first encountered this with my new card I've found the same thing occurs with Sonar 8.5, X1,X2 and X3.   I am running Windows 7 64-bit. My mobo is an Asus P5QL pro with 16 gigs Ram. Does this happen to anyone here who might have a similar setup.  I kind of feel like I might have to live with it like this.  It is kind of a minor annoyance, but is there any setting that might keep this from happening?  All the latest drivers have been installed.

I use two display monitors that use DVI inputs. I don't have that problem and never have going back to CRTs.

Michael, have you tried undocking the multidock, then move it to monitor of your choice?  From there you can load up the multidock with all kinds of tabbed views to your liking.  That arrangement stays put for me unless I open a demo tut project that opens in the default screenset.

Thanks for the suggestion that I undock the multidock and move it to the extra monitors.  I've tried it and it works.  It's not quite the same as being able to place different views anywhere on the monitors.  But, the multidock stays put so I will probably use it more now. It takes getting used to the tabbing.  I wish there was  a windowing feature in the multidock where you could see each of the views within it instead of just one at a time.  Again, thanks for the useful info.
