Sorry for my ignorance with TH2, I've been using GR4, but after all the rave reviews of TH2 I thought I would give it a look.
Another thread claimed there are 10 amps, 10 cabs, 3 mics, etc.
I can only see two amps, "Amplifier" and "Randall", one cabinet "Cab", there's also a "Cab IR", and no other mic selections. In my "Sounds" screen there is only one bank "Bank 1".
Do I have a bad install? Can anyone help me figure this out.
Thanks,
John

The "Amplifier" has two drop down sections to select  8 different amps, the Randall and THD make up the 10 amps. The TH2 cabinet has drop downs to select different cabinets and microphones.

Thanks Scook.
Is it also correct, that I only have one sound bank?
Should I import the "Bonus Pack" to the "User Banks"?

Not to be a RTFM guy but TH2 is a program that definitely requires you read and understand the manual thoroughly. It's not very long and it'll show you where things are hidden and lots of functions are hidden. If you don't know the tricks of using it it is not nearly as good of a program.

There is one partially filled factory bank. I put the bonus presets in a user bank.

Thanks again.
Beep, I'm a RTFM kind of guy too. But, I found the manual to be a little light on the basics of modules, presets, banks and their locations. I play a bit, then probably spring for the full version. That's my usual MO.

Also if you are running Sonar X2 Studio as opposed to Producer the included TH2 version has less modules/presets.

Sorry, wasn't sure. I've found this program in specific tends to cause confusion due to the layout (it sure did at first for me) so I always recommend the manual just in case. As has been mentioned the head sounds live within the few actual graphical heads. As far as presets the initial install is indeed a bit sparse but I could have swore there was a few more than what you are seeing but that was a long time ago (I've been on full for about a year now and it's great BTW). Personally the presets are cool for getting ideas about different set ups from but personally I find building my own garners much better results.

Beeps, if you're interested I've made a variation of the pedal+amp combo you mentioned in a previous thread.

Your post made me think outside my personal "TH2 box" a little so now I'm getting hooked.
