listened to both compositions.
the choral work sounds pretty good for a soft-synthed choral work. as someone says above, perhaps a litle too much dynamic variation in that it goes p-ff - p.
the string quartet again sounds too much like there's not enough attention played in programming the dynamics. i can't do it, there's a few on here who can, using CCs to make it sound very realistic. adding some pizicato, tremolo etc would go a long way. the last minute and a half was definitely the strongest
musically it's firmly in that mid-19th century style, personally i'd like a bit of dissonance and unusual cadences but then i am more of a late-romantic/20th century classical fan.
