They sent me a working de bugged ASC and now I am back in business.

Do you think you could share that miraculous working version of ASC with the rest of us ? I'm having the same  issue here and I was hoping to avoid the long uncertain process of interacting with customer support...

Well it was not only the ASC but also each instrument as well, and they were "customized" based on the crash logs I sent them so they probably wont work for you .
However Holiday time is over for them so they are back at work, and really they were fairly quick when they were at work.
I would submit a trouble ticket detailing your issues , if enough of us submit tickets they may come out with an update.
My issue was the replaced mother board that screwed up their authorization scheme based on Microsofts response or lack or response from the hardware.
