Hi,

In Mackie mode, my BCF2000 used to go into EQ mode and control the Sonitus track EQ. Is there a way to make it work the same way for the PC EQ?

Thanks in advance,
G

Theoretically, ACT should work

Thanx Dub,  I was hoping that the MCU emulation mode could still be used. It worked good on v8.5.

There may be a way, but Isuspect an actual BCF2000 user can give you a better answer.  I'm hoping Tasam makes a dedicated controller surface

I wasn't able to use the EQ mode in Sonar X1. Are you using it in Xa3? Here's a thread you might be interested in (for comments by Blades and others).

It won't unless the EQ is the first in the PC chain. It's something I and others have been commenting on for some time. In the thread bent4life has linked you to you'll see that Noel has commented that they are aware of the issue and are hoping to open source the mackie protocol.

Meanwhile an ACT controller if you have one will do the job. As you probably already know though you can't use the BCF in Mackie and ACT mode at the same time.

And from what I recall, the BCF in ACT mode does not work as a motorized device.  Can you verify, FBB?

Wow!   Thanks for all of the great feedback!  Even if I put the EQ first though, not all of the bands appear to work correctly.  Hopefully CW will help us out here.

Take care,

Correct, I'm not sure whether that's a limitation of ACT or the BCF but no motorised faders in that mode.
