I never really thought I'd get big on a algorithmic reverb given that we have convolution verbs now. I mean it is real reverb, how can you be better than real? All the convolution verbs, even cheap ones, did a better job than algo verbs. However not Breverb. It just sounds amazingly good. Particularly on drums I just love the thing I am amazed how good it sounds. It has really become what I prefer.

If they ever do another upgrade deal to the full version, you should really take a look at getting the full deal. The "spaces" mode it has is just amazing.

I like it a lot.  Quite a few people here are "down on it", but I have always found I useful.  I love being able to have it in ProChannel as well, and find it quite light on resources, so it's good for tracking too..

Its probably my most used reverb, followed by Perfect Space and Reverberate.  I will also be trying out the Nomad Factory BlueVerb, when I get a chance.

Same here, I really like it. Works well on vox for me too.

Yep , I just tried out the "Blue Verb", and to me it sounded quite bad - tried a bunch of presets and tweaking away, but couldn't get results to my liking at all.

Dropped in Breverb instead and woo hoo, happy sounds in no time at all.

Cheers - Cliff

Yeah, I gotta admit, I'm liking what I'm hearing with Breverb also. Before I upgraded to X3, I was using X1e, and my go to verb was Softube TSAR-1R from the Mix Bundle Pro Channel Edition. I'm thinking I'm gonna have a hard time choosing between the two from now on! :)

I've been slow to adopt the Blue Verb too. Each time I've tried to use it so far, I've ended up dropping it for something I'm more familiar with.

It can be like a new shirt tho. For me, new shirts hang in the closet except on laundry day until they become old shirts and I wear them all the time.

+1 I like it a lot - and agree with you JB that it's nice to have it available in ProChannel.

The only problem with the Prochannel module is it only works on the included version, not the full one. The part of Breverb that really impresses me is the stuff you get when you upgrade. The "Spaces Large" setting is where I find the stuff I really like. I suppose no surprise the best stuff you have to buy the upgrade for :D. If they ever bring back an upgrade deal, give it real thought. I'm glad I got the full version, even though you have to use it as VST.

Yeah, Breverb is really great. I have the Valhalla ones and others. I still value the full version of Breverb a lot. I'm very glad I have it and use it.
