I really appreciate all the videos that were put on cake tv showing us the features of all the new stuff that was put in X3. Now some videos on how this new stuff sounds would be spectacular. I could almost hear some things on some of the videos, but the presenters voice would come in and drowned that out. Who else would like this?

If I want to know how X3 sounds I just fire it up.

yes, i'd like to hear the difference when settings are applied. cw did the marketing promos about features, now we'd like how-tos with how individual settings change things...

You have no idea how pleased I am that you can fire it up to hear how it sounds. Bravo!
I will not bore anyone with why I do not have X3 at this time.
I was commenting on how I would like to have a listen as to how some of the new effects and vst's sound until X3 can arrive  at my door. Maybe since you have X3 you could put together a video or two together for us that do not have it yet and share a little. That would be cool! If not that's ok too!
Ooops, now I guess I'll need to get my coat.

I think the OP was trying to express that many of the videos lack anything beyond the marketing verbiage in the press release. It doesn't bother me per say, but I suspect many of the people clicking on the videos for the new included plugins would like to at  hear an actual sample.  Yes, they could just type in "nomad factory blue tube" and hear many samples if it is just eating them.

What kind of stuff do you want to hear? I can't make any promises, but I am very curious :)

Dan,
I would like to hear how the new blue tube stuff sounds (eq's dynamics, and fx ) because there is so much in the bundle , maybe some video's explaining why using one or the other of these in a mix would be a good thing, and then of course how it sounds, also the Strum Acoustic. Not much on Strum Acoustic but marketing videos. I have found good examples of the Lounge Lizard in action (sounds amazing) and have also found good videos on AD. There is not much with using Melodyne Essentials. I guess the point of Essentials is to get your interest up enough to go to Editor. So maybe a video on what can be done with Essentials could be worth while. Thanks for the interest.

Did you look at the videos on Celemony's site regarding Melodyne Essential (has its own tab)?

Dan - the CakeTV Live webinars have been fantastic - illustrating and demonstrating highlights of how features work and sound when applied in an example song. Truly motivating stuff!

It would be great to see a webinar on X3 some day on CakeTV Live.

+1.    I've been playing with the Blue Tubes stuff and for the most part I like what I hear, but seeing the potential from others that know them better would be great.
