This sounds great! Agree on the comments regarding the snare. You may also have HPF the bass and kick a little too much because the low end is not really there. Looking forward to the version with vocals.

Thank you all for listening and the comments. I took your feedback and made some changes. I've been meaning to revisit the mix and mastering anyways, but after hearing your feedback (which is much appreciated BTW), I decided to focus on it now. I've posted a new link in the OP along with the old version if anyone wants to compare them.

@synkrotron - You are correct, this is all done with VSTi's. I forgot to mention that in this post like I did with Fractured. I'm using Electri6ity for all of the guitars and using Guitar Rig 5 for the amp sim. Took me a couple years to get the guitars how I wanted them to sound. It took so long for many reasons - learning curve (not just with Electri6ity), time (too many hobbies and other things going on), trial and error, etc.

@ohgrant - I'm looking forward to hearing the vocals too, lol. I have the lyrics done. I'll be visiting my brother in a month and we're going to be getting the vocals done on this. Hopefully sometime in August I'll have the vocal version up.

@emeraldsoul - The guitars aren't gated. I'll explain at a high level the signal chain starting with the Electri6ity synth. I'm using four rhythm guitars - two hard left and two hard right and using two different guitars. Each guitar has a track on the left and the right. Within Electri6ity, the guitar is routed through a preamp. From there it goes into Guitar Rig 5. I created a custom preset for each of the four guitars tracks. Then it gets routed into the Rhythm Guitar bus. In this bus, ProChannel is processed before the FX bin and it includes a compressor with a pretty decent boost and an EQ. It then goes into the FX bin where another EQ is applied, then a multiband compressor with moderate settings. And finally it gets routed to the master bus into Ozone where I created a custom mastering preset.

@Amine Belkhouche - I decided to address the snare issue by boosting it a bit more around 250hz and adding a compressor in ProChannel with modest settings. Also, I cut quite a bit at 250hz on the rhythm guitars to make room for the snare. The guitars sound better without those muddy frequencies anyways.

@dcumpian - I addressed the low end issue by removing the HPF on the bass guitar (since there's one on the master bus anyways) and adding a multiband compressor in Ozone on the master bus, which is boosting the low end just a tad.

Just had a listen...  as with your previous material this is nicely done!  That you're doing the entire thing with plugins shows a good skill level and an ability to mix.  It sounds good here, and about right for the genre.

Fantastic work.  Very clean mix, great playing, super writing.  Wow.

PS - really impressed with the Electri6ity synth!
