I suspect your issues with X2a were due to your system. You're running a fairly old PC, and I'm actually surprised you are successfully running Win 8 64bit with only 2GB Ram.

Whatever . . . .

I bet i could run X3 good enought also, when bug's is fixed.
Hope they will put a demo download up sometime.

Anyway X1b is great.

2GB Ram? Good luck with that. You may as well stay 32bit, seriously. Otherwise there is no advantage.

X1b was TOTALLY unstable on my system. It wasn't until X1c was released that X1 became a viable platform to work with - and that was running an i7 with 32Gb of RAM

And just to say 'whatever.....' makes you sound like a child. Try and be a little more courteous.

Down grade???    Does that mean you actually uninstalled X2? Did you also uninstall the updated plugins?

Eeeek sorry guy's , but i meant X1d of course, my fault..

Btw i found out there must be something with ( Bitbridge) in sonar
if it not load " certain " 32 bit plugins.

I have JBridge and used that to " change " 32 bit plugin to " 64bit "
then those plugins work..

So Bitbridge need an good overhaul, its not as good it should be !

Try Audiocation Compressor ( it's 32bit ), and see if it work in X3

Yes i re-installed windows completely, deleted X2 and so forth
also the installation files of X2, everything is gone..

Now running X1d, and using JBridge, on certain 32 bit plugins that not work with bitbridge.

Anyone tested the Audiocation Compressor in X3 yet?
btw those plugins is made by: Christian Budde

If it works on X3, they may have fixed the Bitbridge !!
If not Bitbridge need to be worked on..

If anyone care to test, it would be great to know if it work

thanks

Why use a 32 bit plugin compressor when Sonar producer comes with plenty of them in 64 bits.

Good question, i guess it has to do with the " taste " how they sound and compress !

As you know i now have X1d, and there's not exactly a huge amount of effect plugins there.
there is the Sonitius suite, it's ok but nothing more.

Now i am not after a huge collection of plugins, ill rather have a few good ones that i really know.

Guess we all have some picture of what kind, of sound we are looking for
and hence what plugins we choose to use.

if i had the money i would probably get this but it's to expensive for me.

Yes Sonar Producer, have a lot of great plugins / channel strip etc, and now also melodyne.
maybe later when i can earn some money of recording and mixing
i would be able to upgrade to X3, with all the goodies there !

Now for me at present time, it's just a dream but who knows, time may change.

There is no point in running 64bit SONAR in 2GB of RAM. 32bit SONAR does not need BitBridge.
