It's not that the ideas aren't there; it's not that I lack melody concepts or inspiration. Simply that SONAR X2S crashes SO DAMNED MUCH.
- Pretty much always when trying to open files from older versions
- A lot of times during Bounces
- Some tracks have soft synths that WON'T DELETE, bad crash when I try

Wtheck is wrong with the thing? Is there an error list? Patches?

There is an X2a update. If you have not applied it you should. Are you running 32bit X2a? If not, you may want to install it for your older projects. If you are using 3rd party 32bit plug-ins (esp. freeware) in 64bit X2a, they can cause stability issues.

FWIW, this is the forum for legacy versions of SONAR. The X series forum is above this one. Should you choose to post there, it might be helpful to add which version of SONAR you are using to the title.

Without details, one can only speculate on the source of your crashes, but you'll probably find they are due to some third-party plugin. When SONAR crashes, it will create a minidump that contains, among other things, the exact module that raised the exception. This can be sent to CW for analysis, which usually identifies the source of the problem. 99 times out of 100 it'll be either a plugin or the interface driver, with the former perhaps more likely because you're mostly having issues opening older projects.
