My biggest gripe in X2 is that it doesnt make me cups of tea or fetch me beers from the fridge, I WILL NOT UPGRADE to X3 unless this must have feature is included.

1034) "Analyze clip" which would instantly tell you the very basic things about the audio clip like peak value (dB), peak RMS value (dB), avarage RMS value (dB)

1035) The option of having the RMS level envelope on the audio clip or track view.

1036) An option for "Normalize to X dB RMS (peak)" and "Normalize to X dB RMS (avg.)".

You should also have an option of configuring the RMS window for what ever you want it to be (0-2000 ms) for the beforementioned functionalities.

I would love to see an amazing software synthesizer ,which blows away everything  in every other sequencer .
Mostly and also in matters of Visual appearance . In order to let folks choose SONAR over the other sequencers : )


In my eyes ,its just so cool if your synths do something for the eyes while creating music with it .
Its the main reason why I bought the Radias Korg some years ago . Its lights ,coupled with the silver case .......just beautiful !
And with virtual design ,one could even put the bar so much higher .

The option to use dedicated "buttons" for fit project to window, save, undo, re-do, like we used to have in Sonar 8. Also, please, the ability to scroll FX in the FX bin with the scroll wheel on the mouse!!!!!!

Have we completely ruled out hope for an X2b before its time for X3?... I'd much more like to see the former before the latter gets rushed onto the shelves. I know X1 had a longer longevity and more updates than X2 has had yet.
