That (in a word) changes EVERYTHING.

I wish the Sonar had the kind of Midi tools that my old Bars and Pipes Pro had on my old Amiga 500. It could invert chords and generate harmonies, as well as other things that Sonar can't do... very useful for someone who does 99% of his music with MIDI. The smart tool is nice, but there are zero creative tools in the Sonar PRV. I sure miss that program.

Complete the Sonar X2 Producer "survey" and just maybe "some" of your wishes, just may become true - did you get the survey; did you take the time to fill it out???? 

I want a blue gui, not a grey or brown one.

1)id like to be able to resize only some tracks in the console view. some narrow / some wide.
2)folders in the console view.
3)id like to have jump markers (almost like the regular makers only the option to list the order in which they play
4)a button to edit take lanes on the fly(press it once to punch in / press it again to punch out)this way you could comp in real time.
5)staff view upgrades, I don't use staff view but a lot of peeps do and that's important to me that others are happy.
6)everyone happy, I know, it'll never happen.

Aside from the global 'narrow' and 'wide' settings, if you right click on an individual channel strip, there is an option to widen or narrow it independently of the rest.
 
I use this a lot when I'm in the latter stages of mixing - I have all the track strips set to 'narrow' and the bus strips set to 'wide'.
 
Mind you, I reckon it would be really useful if we could drag the edges of console strips to resize them, in much the same way as tracks can be resized in the Track View.

More touch please. Rather than playing guitar I'd like to be able to strum my monitor.

scene switching were we can hit a midi controller and trigger a change on the fx and synths to make settings shift some tracks could be shut off others go live instantly. Doing this live would allow guitarists to use amp sims the same as a pod hd 500
