  • So, how exactly do you collapse all take lanes/automation on tracks at once?

This never worked right in X2, and I don't see any improvement. I suppose if you crtl-a and then collapsed one, it should in theory do all.

I would try crtl + collapse.

Hi Jamesyoyo,

Show/hide takes and show/hide lanes are two separate controls. There are two ways you can close both at the same time. You can use keybindings to assign two keys (i.e. two keys next to each other on your PC keyboard) and hit them at the same time or use Auto Track Zoom which shows all active lanes and takes when the track is clicked.

That's correct and how it does work here in X3 and X2 as long as you haven't got autozoom enabled. I'm not sure if that's by design or a bug.

Thanks, but what are the exact commands to keybind to? I did not see them in the list.

I'm not in front of SONAR, but I think it may be Shift+T and Shift+A.

steve is right on that one, the only thing is it only works on the active track.  so, if you select all tracks and issue the shift+a and shift+t shortcuts, they still only work on the track that's in focus.  i'd like to see that change to all selected tracks.

I agree this would be a nice update.  In the meantime, holding CNTRL while clicking the open/close take/automation icons works.
