So i downloaded all 3 parts of x3 i start with the first, it goes through all three of them then the install starts. Once it gets all the way to the end it goes to the blue shutdown screen. I had Sonar 7 on this laptop first, so i got rid of all of its files then tried again with the same results. I tried once again with firewall and antivirus off and got the same thing. wondering if anyone else has had this, or any tips to get it to work.

Are you right clicking the .exe and choosing "Run As Administrator"?

I have tried that and i got the same result. 

You dowmloaded all 4 parts yes?
 
Placed them at the same location, then and only then ran the part one?
 
Just for any future installs, it is okay and most people would say preferable to keep you old installs of Sonar in place.

forgot to plug in the power  ? 

Blue screens need power.  It was the 3 vs 4 parts.
