I'm a Sonar 2 user and am trying to use my new Yamaha MOX6 as a multi-sound source. For some reason portamento kicks in every time I try to replay a midi track. What should I do?  If you're familiar with MOX6 please share how I may correctly use it as multi sound source.

Thanks in advance.

When you are performing do you here the portamento?
You are in song mode correct? It's possible that the template you are using, on that particular track, has portamento embedded into the output or mix. If you are in song mode, then the first song should probably be Clubworx? Go to song 3 and start a new sequence there and load the instruments you are using into the different tracks and see if it does it.

Also, you don't have local on do you?

You might try inserting a CC65 with a value of zero at the top of the MIDI track, via the Event View.

Thanks for your help. I'm struggling to edit the Event View. :-)

Insert/CC65/0  and I don't know if you have tried it but if you go to Event Filter, first select none, then check the little box next to controller and type in 65. lick ok and you should see all the CC 65's highlighted.
Then Control X or delete and they should all be bye bye.
