they have various sample songs plus overview videos.  they even have a few freebies

I have both the indie pack (got as a freebie) and the retro pack.  Both are great.  the retro has as Vistalite kit that sounds fantastic.  the indie kit is a custom kit that is very versatile and was apparently recorded with a ton of great vintage analog stuff in a big, nice drum room.  Sounds great.   

I've used AD for a couple of years and think they're superb.
I recently got their 'Dry 60s' pack and it prompted me to go into a whole psychedelic thing:

The X3 AD has a "Vintage" kit - so I am not sure exactly what is left to purchase - but I sure like their app!

pdrag..take a listen to the other kits.  Trust me when I say the Vinatge dry kit sold separately is different than what is included.

They have quite a few "Adpacks" on their site. Before I learned about BFD I was going to purchase AD as my drum sequencer. They have some nice sounding jazz packs as well as metal kits, "indie" kits, kits recorded to sound like old retro stuff. Pretty much packs to cover anyone's needs. I would recommend not just dropping coin on stuff without waiting for specials. They seem to offer REALLY reduced rates on the adpacks quite often.
 
Also for those who haven't checked out their forum already it is very useful. I posted a couple of questions while I was still figuring out what I wanted for my studio and I got answers directly from their representatives within 24 hours. They seem to be a very good company and Cakewalk made a good choice by bringing them onboard.
