I have a clip with a line in it. I don't seem to be able to get rid of it. What's worse is Sonar X2 won't play with that clip in the project. I deleted that clip and the project played. I have no idea how that line in the clip got there or how to get rid of it.

TIA

Is it perhaps a take lane within that clip. Explode the track to expose any take lanes that may have inadvertently been recorded and may be corrupt??

Here's the weird part. I got it to play but it will only play if I set the now time during beat 3. This has to be the weirdest thing ever. It is the only clip. I delete it, it plays fine. I CTRL+Z, it only plays with the now time during beat 3.

Also, no control surface works unless the aforementioned is in place.

Could you have accidentally hit 0 (zero) on the numeric keypad, enabling "Enhanced Mode"?

It's not the 0. I hit it and the line appeared. I hit it again and it went away.

TIA,

It is possible for you to take a screen shot of that clip with the take lanes expanded and zoomed in on the "line?" "Ghosted" data can appear as a line for a few things.

As far as the track is concerned, was the project done entirely in X2? Reason I asked is because I did have a few track issues opening projects from previous versions. I was copying tracks to a new project so I could dissect them without altering the original until I knew what it was.

Other than envelops and "Enhanced Mode" I cannot think of other lines that would appear on a clip. A screen image might help.

I don't remember if I started the track in X1 or 2. None of the original project exists anymore as I wrote it in 4/4 but I had to re-write because I should have wrote it in 12/8. So far the only workaround I can figure is to just re-record it. What a pain!

I guess I'll figure it out tomorrow. Grrrrrrrrr.
