Not sure what the workaround for mobile ...
But try bookmarking the desktop version?  also ... in the options for a website  I think you can request  desktop version in safari... rather than navigate to the options on the site - could save time..

it's only on my iPad.  Every other box is fine.  Sheesh.

Yup...I'm definitely getting off the Apple Express.  Already ditched my iPhone 4 for a new Moto G 4....waaaaayyy better...and have just about had it with the iPad2...kicks me of sites (especially CNN) willy nilly and is very glitchy.  In fact, anyone with an Android Tablet recommend would be greatly appreciated.
