Reply I got from Nomad:

Hi Pawel,

Thanks for contacting us and detailing your concern for Cakewalk and Blue Tubes plug-ins provided with purchase and integrated into the DAW.

Our team have been made aware of the closure of the Sonar brand and the many requests around the web and through forums of those wishing to upgrade to the full versions, for use in other DAW, should they wish to switch...

Currently our Nomad Factory products are available through end of year at up-to 80% off, so now is your best time to get low prices on stock before the turn of 2018.  See our
dealers list here
.

But that said, you may of course still utilize your plug-ins in the DAW as is, they will still work as your DAW too, for many years to come!

If you would like to upgrade, we are happy to offer a path to the Blue Tubes v3 Bundle at further discount (only $49, instead of current $79 and list "$399") on view of your Sonar purchase receipt, which you may attach in reply here.  We will then provide a one time, one use coupon for discount purchase via our dealer DontCrack.com.

The Nomad Factory team.

Best regards,

Ashley Smith

I'd say that for any one who wants the Nomad plug ins that's a reasonable deal.

I have a few of the freebies on my list to buy because I want them moving forward. But there's a lot that I don't need or have reasonable alternatives for.

Have to say I think Overloud have been really amazing given that just processing an order costs them money.

I can confirm in Studio One when you add the plugin you get a pop-up stating the plug-in will be in bypass mode because it is only licenced for use in Sonar.

I got the Nomad Integral Studio Pack as well. It is not a "forever" sale. It was offered at that price shortly after Plugivery took over and I was kicking myself when it went back to the regular price. As soon as it went again on sale I jumped on the deal and I'm very glad I did.

As a side note, anybody emailing Nomad/Plugivery asking for an offer may want to consider also asking them to evaluate taking over CW...

Well I took them up on their offer of $49 for the bundle and now their authentication system won't work. Tried disabling antivirus and running as admin. Hopefully their tech support will help

Well, I got the same email from Ashley, and dutifully sent in my receipt.  Never heard anything, so I emailed the receipt again.  Nothing but radio silence from them now.

Guess they won't get my $50.

FYI with the Blues Tube bundle I purchased my DAW (S1) kept seeing the Nomad plugins from Sonar and would not recognize the newly purchased ones regardless of pointing it to the folder. I ended up finding the file location of the Sonar Nomad Plugins and moved them into a backup folder as a just in case. I relaunched and all is working now.
