The  VC-64 is a great plugin, I still use it in Sonar Platinum.   I used an older Sonar DVD to re-install VC-64 into Sonar Platinum.  I purchased the Waves SSL bundle back when the entire Bundle was as at a very low price from Waves.  I love the E and G channels especially the G comp on my master bus.
 
If you don't have it, I suggest Kramer Master Tape on the master bus as well, you'll enjoy the presence it adds.
