X3b is so stable I might even move to Win 8.

It's working great on Win8, no stability problems to report after many hours of use.

Everything is working fine on Windows 8 here.

I was mixing a small project in X3a for the first time last night, and it was great TBH.  I'm coming from X1 so take lanes is gonna take some getting used to, but there's so much greatness here.

One thing that nobody on here has talked about but I LOVE is the new BlueTubes stuff.  I tried a bunch of out and will probably be using them quite a bit!  The chorus and flanger are fantastic.  Especially the stereo applications.

Is it just my imagination, or do projects load faster? And when you move the Now time around in a project when it's playing it also seems to start playback faster?

Frankly, I had high hopes for X3 but this is even better than expected in terms of having a really solid feel.

A few people have noticed this. Some of the overall VST updates involved some subtle changes to the VST load sequence. I suspect this reduces the traffic of messages to the plugin during load and could account for faster load times on plugin laden projects, particluarly for plugins that have hundreds of parameters.
There were also changes to the timeline seeking logic (for ARA), although I don't have an explanation yet why it would be faster :-P

No its not your imagination or then we both need to see some one about group hallucinations.

Its simply better behaved and feels a lot more solid. An example for me is the demo for X3. It uses all my cores to a fair degree that in older versions would cause a hang or dropout. Not with X3 though.

Yeah, the modulation FX (and delays) are pretty nice - I can definitely see me using them.   I'm a bit undecided on the EQs and Comps though, mainly because I'm so used to the PC versions (UI and sound).

And just another +1 on the overall X3 experience.    So far so good geat.

I'll join the choir :-)) This version is great !!
It may be an placebo effect but to me the whole program runs smoother :-))
Keep up the good work !!!

All the best

It's definitely not a placebo effect. We spent a lot of time enhancing workflow and making it rock-solid out of the gate. And we are committed to even more updates based on user feedback.

Comping for me is the stand out feature. My workflow has been automated.

I'm also using the Blue Tubes Chorus and delay far more than I thought I would.
