X3bubblicious?
PS: What does the yak think about X3b?
I might be a little googly eyed at the moment?... And we've only been dating for a week, so it's not exactly super-serious yet, if you know what I mean?...
I'm still seeing this other DAW on the side, we'll call her, Cubey the 7th.
Some people that I collab with, use Steiny so I have to keep that up and running. But since X2, almost all of my solo projects have been done in Sonar. Now that I don't have to reach for SO2 integrated Melodyne? I just might become a one DAW kind of guy.
*Whispers* But I'll still see the old mistress on the odd occasion...
In all seriousness, for my needs? X3 does all of the creative, editing, mixing things that I need it to and so far seamlessly! My other thread about trying to crash X3, had me resorting to pushing my systems resources with outside memory hogging gizamabobs (didn't mean to drop such a technical term as gizamabob but that's how I role!

) and in the end maxing my ram only succeeded in not allowing the next inserted instrument to be active. Maybe a brief screen shudder or two and it still kept working! It took a known Waves vst2 mixed with vst3 error to topple it and I had to go looking for that problem, to get it to topple. So thus far, I am magnificently impressed. Or, magnifipressed?!!
I only joined the forum a while back but I used to check in now and then (entertainment purposes) before I had even bought in with X1. The flock of 'old heads' (respect) we're seeing returning to this forum, probably speaks volumes more than a schmuck/hack/doofus like me ever could...
