Hello Everyone,

So I was checking out "loop recording" which is a great feature (as Im a terrible keyboardist really).... but all my tracks are in MIDI/Softsynth, and when I loop record, the backing tracks keep getting louder and louder on each go around (especially if its a short loop, say 1 to 4 measures)... so a pad sound that starts at the beginning and doesn't end, keeps on multiplying.  Is there anyway to "resolve" this issue?

Thank You in advance!

Long-duration pads can be problematic in several ways (e.g. not re-triggering when you start playback after the Note On). The easiest solution to all these issues is to freeze pad tracks as soon as possible, even if only temporarily while you record other tracks.

since the pads are not seeing a "note off" inside of the loop window you are layering sounds.

if you are working on a passage doing multiple takes its probably easiest simply to mute other tracks not of interest, or if its in the track you are working on, edit the offending notes to stop inside of your loop.
