I would like to buy just that, without the whole AAS Modeling Collection Bundle. Anybody see any way to do it? Thanks.

Thanks for the link, but it links to Acoustic- the one we have light version. I am asking about electric, which is part of bundle.

I was also wondering if anybody tried to use Acoustic with some kind of guitar modeling software like "Guitar Rig" to see if it would convert in to an electric/distortion type.

Sorry try  this instead http://www.applied-acoust.s.com/strumelectric/buy/
If you already own the full acoustic there is a discount for electric http://www.applied-acoust...trumelectric/upgrades/

Yeah, I was thinking of that, but it costs $199. I was hoping for Cake discount of $79... Guess- they could not negotiate it for us...

Sales happen closer to the end of the year. Expect a bunch of deals then.

I have both full versions (plus EP-4) and both are worth it! Re the question on effects, yes you can run strum acoustic and electric "clean" and insert any effects you have in your library in a Sonar efx bin...if I understand you correctly.

Thank you. Is the Sonar X3 comes with Guitar Rig, or did they stop including it? I think it should be inserted as plugin, therefor... Can we re-route a plug in's output in to another plug in's Input? Lets say instead of sending Strum plug in's out to Master, set it to "Guitar rig," which would be inserted as soft synth? Struggle with sessional guitar players is the story of my life. Would be so great to be able to do it myself. I even took guitar lessons- never got anywhere with it. lol.

Guitar Rig was replaced with TH2 Producer in X2 and X3
Drop TH2 Producer in the FX bin or ProChannel of the audio or instrument track associated with the synth and you are good to go.

Can I do it before I freeze it, or should it be frozen? I would like plug in to keep playing naturally, so I can change strums, while distortion is on. I have Guitar Rig 5 from Native Instruments Komplete 9.
