I have bit the flippin bullet and got the X3 producer upgrade. I hope they dedicate more loyalty to X3 than they did X2.
 
I have also updated to X3b(woulda been nice to see X2b)
 
I am having troubles getting Waves to get the settings established as they were in X2, X1, 8.5, etc... Has there been an official stance on this? X2 does not load any of the settings at all. Is there a workaround?

Did you import them ...or just try to play them ?

open project and hit play. I am checking the doc to see if I missed something. I am not above that btw... :) I put stuff together at Christmas without directions first too. 

Do you have (in preferences) the VST3 migration switches turned on?
If not, try that first (assuming you have Waves VST3 version installed).
 
If for some reason you do not have Waves VST3 installed, I suggest that you might want to get them installed.
 
I have Waves VST3 and X3b and the VST3 switches on and have not had a problem with older projects opening with retained settings.

I do have the VST3 plugs installed as well as use the VST3 versions if available. I did a little research and from what I understand, this is a known issue. No workaround yet though.
