Hi there.
Can anyone help?
I have just upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 64bit.
I am running Sonar Platinum and I cant open session drums.
I get an error message, failed to load c:\programfiles\cakewalk\vstplugins\Session Drummer 3\Sessiondrummer x64bit.dll

Any ideas?.
Alan.

May want to call tech support.
Have you tried reinstalling the Artist Instrument Collection from the Command Center?

If that does not work do a reset:

Also check your VST file paths under Sonar preferences. Same also with CCC settings.

Missing SD3 also  :(    I am using X3 Studio on win7 32 bit.  I have checked the scan path and it looks fine.   There was an article about windows dll redistribution file being the problem. There is a microsoft fix which i downloaded but no joy.  i tried the reset option as per the link above.  No good.    I dont know what the Artist Instrumentation is so i haven't tried that.
When i go to insert my SD3 under insert > soft synths  there is just no SD there at all.
Should i change to a different virtual drum system?  Some of them are very expensive such as EZ Drummer (about 150)       I'd rather try get my SD3 back if possible.    Thanks all.

Assuming you did install the update as described in this knowledgebase article and then performed a full VST reset/rescan, I would just try it again after performing a clean boot of Windows 7.

Of course, as a last resort, you can perform a clean installation of Sonar X3.
