Since the introduction of AUX tracks I like to have my Verb and Delay Busses in the Folder they relate to.
ie. Vocal Verb & Delay in the VOCALS Folder, Guitar Verb Delay in the GUITARS Folder; You get the picture, right?
While tracking I put the Sonitus Verb and Delay on the AUX; keeping the load light.
Occasionally I have "issues" with these AUX Tracks containing the Sonitus Verb & Delay.
Suddenly I have no signal on the AUX Track.
Frequently then I start getting dropouts.
Anyone else see "funky" behavior with AUX Tracks in general?
Maybe when using the Sonitus plugs i particular?
In my current "problamatic" project I deleted the AUX tracks and setup regular busses for the various verbs and delays.
So far so good.
TIA,

T

Yep, that`s how I like to work and from my experience aux tracks are buggy. Funny you should post this cus I was think of going back to busses myself today, for that reason. Here`s another related post and one which I experience a lot http://forum.cakewalk.com...n-Tracks-m3687247.aspx

Rasure thanks for the update.
Aux tracks and Patch points are what make SPlat projects not backwards compatible with X3.
As convenient as they can be, I'll remove them in all existing and new projects (I had saved the core midi
for this project in a "backup" that I verified would open in X3).
If SPlat ever goes SPlat, I can always open in X3 and export for use in Reaper.
For now I'll ride SPlat until I truly lets me down.
