I inserted 4 effects in to track bin. I would like to convert them in to FX Chain to be able to insert to another channel without needing to insert individual effects. But "Convert Bin to FX Chain" is grayed out, so as "Dave Effect Chain". How do I save my effects selection?
 
Also I noted that there used to be "Save As" option for every effect. Now it only "Save". I used to be able to insert let's say "Reverb", select Preset, change settings and then save it with another name. Now if I alter preset, I can only save it under the same name. Am I missing something? Thank you.

Neither Convert to FX Bin nor Save FX Chain are greyed out for me.
 
When I open the Nomad Reverb and click the button that says VST, I get a Save Preset choice which allows me to save the settings for the Effect.

Well- Plug ins may have different options, so some may be able to "Save As". But I remember old effects that came with Sonar used to be able to do it, not any more.

This option of converting is not grayed out in my case. I think you should again check your setting properly.

There are no settings. I have 4 effects inserted, and the option is grayed out. I am wondering if that may have anything to do with using 3rd party effects, like IK Multimedia or Native Instruments? Should I be able to save as XF chain any effects? Thank you.
