hi everyone, I just discovered something I want to pass on. I've been having problems with a delay that would appear. I thought it was the interface (M-Audio mobile pre), I thought it was the computer, i7 core, plenty of power, it was making me nuts, I took one more look before I reloaded the O/S. I removed the FX chains I was using on drums, vox. that did the trick, it seems for some reason X-2 does not work and play well when running them in real time. so for what it's worth there you are.

Hi joey90405,

What plugins do you have in the FX chain? Are any of them delay compensated? To quickly verify if one of your plugins is PDC, click on the PDC button in the Control bar. If the delay goes away, a plugin in the FX chain is applying delay compensation. Plugins like the LP64 EQ and multiband compressor, Perfect Space, Transient shaper and a host of 3rd party plugins apply PDC.

PDC is a button "E" below in the Mix Module in the Control Bar. From http://www.cakewalk.com/D...Req=ControlBar.06.html
