There is some confusion to this V-Vocal and R-Mix issue.

I hear some people say it has to be loaded from X2 because it's not included.

But the X3 advertisement says it's already built in and included as part of the X3 product which is it?

Is it already built inside of X3 or is it not?

V-Vocal and R-Mix aren't included but if you have them from a previous version you can still use them.

Hi if you are X2 owner you can use RMix and VVocal with X3b.
I have copied R Mix on X3b vst dir,but if you have done a fresh OS install you must reinstall X2 to use VVocal (is part of this install) but only the programs file.
I hope this help.

VX64 V-Vocal is listed as being included in Producer version on the Cakewalk website under X3 comparison chart.

X3 also includes other "Roland" components like the Roland Groove Synth, so I don't know why they would take out R-Mix and leave other Roland instruments/plugins inside the program.

V-Vocal is listed as an important part of X3 on the CW website but yet I'm hearing folks say it's not even there?

VX-64 is not V-Vocal. They are different plug-ins. V-Vocal and R-Mix are not mentioned in the X3 comparison chart. While I could find bad ad copy on a retailer site, I could not find it at the Cakewalk site.

Hah!  Scook beat me to it.  What you're seeing there is a strip-based vocal channel processor.  I do see Roland Groove Synth listed though...maybe the older Roland stuff had different licensing.  It looks like Sweetwater did a sloppy copy/paste from the X2 features.

I saw it advertised as part of X3 in sweetwater retailer website.

Oh, I thought Vx64 was part of V-vocal too.

The retailer's page is incorrect.

The VX-64 has nothing to do with V-Vocal.
