I listen to songs here in the control room of my studio, which has Adam A7x's and Event 20/20's on isolation stands
I'm not too familiar with nearfield monitors... I did some research, oh, well over eight years ago now, and all I could afford at the time was a pair of Tannoy Reveal actives, which only go down to 60Hz, which, as I realise now, is pretty sad. I think that, when the time comes that I am able to get a "studio" room back, I need to ditch the Reveals and get something that goes below 50Hz.
I googled your monitors and the A7x's go down to 42Hz and the 20/20's down to 35Hz.
My question to you would be, if you could only afford the one pair, which one would it be?
