I have been messing with the Melodyne Essential that comes with X3, and am not sure exactly what the "single track" means. Obviously you can work with only one (monophonic) track, so I had duped a quick vocal track, shifted all notes up a third on the second track, and this played in X3 fine. However, when I did an audio export of this project I only got the first track exported (export to mp3, entire project). I was forced to run Melodyne Essential stand alone to alter the wave file, save it, and then import it back into X3. Based on this experience I am wondering if multiple instances of the Melodyne Essential can be run in the same project file (am I doing something wrong??).

The bigger concern is that I like this product and would like to take advantage of the upgrade, but I worry for the above situation as well. Has anyone upgraded to (or used) Melodyne editor that can confirm that multiple plugins of Melodyne Editor ("single track") can be run in the same project?

Best regards,
Michael

It should work fine on as many tracks as you like. However, Sonar, as always, only exports actually selected audio tracks/clips. I usually do a CTRL+A in my arrange window before selecting the beginning and end on the time ruler and exporting. Are you sure you had everything selected?

Thank you!! That was, in fact, the reason! Funny me... I guess I always assumed "Entire Mix" meant all tracks :(
