I was not able to reproduce this, but maybe I am missing a step somewhere.

I will try again tomorrow - perhaps I am not leaving it for long enough.

This is the first plug-in I've seen that deliberately emulates a ground loop. I can't help but think this emulator is one big April Fools joke.

That's how I feel about tape sims and console emulators in general. Emulating a ground loop makes about as much sense as emulating channel crosstalk.

I'm still waiting for the tape sim that gradually alters the pitch of the project to simulate stretching, rolls off the highs and inserts random dropouts to simulate flaking, and bleeds the kick and bass into adjacent tracks if you let the project sit for a few months. Let's also make sure the Rewind key takes 20 seconds to work and doesn't always stop at the same place. Or the ultimate simulation, the one that randomly "breaks" and spools the virtual tape out onto the floor, requiring a virtual splicing block and razor to continue recording.

I like it so far, but I've got the noise knob turned all the way down. I've been comparing to Saturn and Reelbus. All three sound good to me.

I tested it a little last night. Sounded pretty decent to me too.

The noise level increase was very slow on my system, even with the noise level maxed out, which purportedly increases the rate. I would say it took at least 30 minutes to rise 10dB, but it was definitely a steady increase that could not be reset except by removing the module.
