If your (Sonar) going to brag and boast about what "this version" of your new DAW can do, "back that Sh*t up"!
Don't get me wrong, I also try to improve my playing to a point where recording my performance is just that, "recording my performance". Not editing, readjusting, adding to, removing, moving, adjusting..... none of that! I want to play and record! So just in case you come hear me play that song in a live performance it sounds as close to the recorded performance as possible.
Now I'm not talking about "mixing", "mastering", or anything the things that prepare a recording to be radio ready, I'm just referring to the actual performance.
But back to the DAW. If you are going to advertise a piece of software to be the "latest and greatest", you gotta back that sh*t up, kid!
