yep, Dave is right. I have had hardware mods and with the latest updates, there is an online verification that gets quick access. It is working great here. Believe me, if it were not so, I would have mentioned it a lot earlier in the forum. :)


I don't think that the latest update will solve your issue.  I'm quite sure it was done months ago but I have to mention the update issue because so many people don't bother with updates if they aren't experiencing problems or haven't bought recent libraries that require the updated version.

I would advise you to at least contact TT tech support to let them know what the issue was in hopes it might be addressed at a later date.  Who knows, they might be waiting on one more person with your issue to bump it up on the todo list.

Changing network setups definitely changed the toontrack computer ID. I agree this is a pia - but to workaround, you could reinstall your phone/modem drivers - and go reathorise all your Toontrack products. It's easy enough with your "online" connection - and you only have to do it once. If you have a lot of Toontrack products - just do th emain ones (like Superior) and you can do the rest as you use them.
 
The main thing is that you know what the issue is now - and that there is a workaround, and your Superior will always work. ;-)
 
If your concerned about using too many authorisations, you can just leave the phone/modem driver installed and delete the old authorisations (for the old computer ID). If you ever *do* run out of authorisations - Toontrack is really good at resetting them. Just make sure you're signed up on the Toontrack forums - so you don't have to mess around later ;-)
