That's what I did and nothing... I don't have time to mess with it right now.

What do I do if the coupon doesn't show up in my account?

Took 24 hours for it to show up in mine. It was at the very top!

Is the Gobbler code supossed to show up in My Account only after I sign up for Gobbler? That seems backward, maybe I am confused but I don't see a code in My Account.

Yes ... AFTER ... you have to create a gobbler account with the same email address... then the coupon code will show up in your account a day later. You email the coupon code to support@gobbler.com and they will apply it. Goofy is the word I choose.

Does anyone have any extensive experience with Gobbler? I'm naturally cautious about any kind of cloud sync because of an incident a while ago when Google Drive for some bizarre reason overwrote an important spreadsheet with an old version and caused me no end of trouble.

Sharke, from my read, they don't write to your drive casually. The job of Gobbler is not to sync different work environments. That's up to you. It's to BACKUP your work environment and make it easy to share it.

So, if you load up a project and send it to me to add a little something, then I'd load my result to MY Gobbler account, not yours. Then I'd send you a link so you could download it. You could then choose whether to bring my stuff into your project or to replace your copy with mine.

In either case, you should be able to restore to a point in time using Gobbler. So... you over-write your copy with mine. It syncs to YOUR Gobbler account and then you listen and realize I suck! Surprise, Surprise! So you go to Gobbler and download the version prior to me and you're back in business.

That's good to know - I am going to check it out.

However, I cannot seem to get Sonar to connect to Gobbler. When I first hit that G icon in the control bar, it took me to a web page to set up an account, which I did. Now, whenever I press the G button to connect, it just takes me to my Gobbler account online (in my browser) and the G icon never lights up. I have no connection with Sonar. How is this supposed to work?

Yes, I am pretty excited about this. I am doing a collaboration and JUST bought X3 Producer Edition but haven't installed it yet.. Looking forward to it...

What I did...I wrote off Gobbler as being more trouble than it's worth.

It's actually pretty awesome when you're collaborating.

It would be great if it worked but it doesn't work on my computer,,, it keeps giving me a toast popup that says I need to log in...I' was already logged in but it wouldn't connect, so after a while I just gave up on it.

Make sure you're logged into Gobbler first then click the [G] button on the control bar. Sometimes it will take 10-15 seconds to it to successfully handshake.
