I recently installed Presonus Studio One DAW and it came with Melodyne Single Track? (Trial Version) which I installed. Not activated yet.  Now I am going to Install the new Cakewalk Sonar X3 DAW which comes with another (different?) version of Melodyne.  Will these two installations conflict?  The thing is when I installed Studio One software it put VSTs and plugins into the Sonar X2 folder.  Can you tell me what problems I may encounter?  I am trying to avoid a problem.  Should I uninstall the Melodyne (Trial Version) I previously installed, then install Sonar X3 upgrade?  Or Should I do something else?   Thanks in Advance!

On a similar vein, I have Melodyne editor installed and working with x2.

On the setup for x3 with the prompt to install essentials I cancelled the Melodyne install..

Melodyne does not now show up in x3 in the region FX tab, (ie it shows up exactly as in x2) do I need to run all of setup again?, and if so, which option do I choose for the Melodyne install

thanks, a dimwit....

EDIT:

Nevermind.. I re-ran the Melodyne install to add VST3 and all is well..... just glad I did not need to rerun the x3 install.

@Dan

Ensure you have the VST3 of Melodyne installed and all will be well, I did not install Melodyne with Sonar..
