I remember when I used Dr' T's KCS Level 2 the different editors had their key assignments chosen for you in Sonar we have to do that for ourselves for the various editors.
Do some programs have better logic than others. How do people post their key assigments for the different parts within the editor. Is it part of the process of discovering sequencing that every one excessively personalizes? or is there a standard that most recording studio's use?

SONAR has default key bindings. Customizing them is your choice.
You can export and import key bindings.

swamptooth
easiest to use - reason
most flexible - ableton live
most thorough - cubase (this extends to their controller mapping system which is brilliant)
best menus - sonar, sibelius
take your pick, i think it is a tie among the 5 programs that i use.

I'd agree with swamptooth.. but ableton customer service was shocking = got a refund (and still no sign of bitwig)
you can use key bindings from cubase in sonar also.. the number pad ones that go back to the days of the mighty atari ST :)
preferences > keyboard shortcuts > import .. if you are used to another sequencer , and you'll get a list
