I use a Behringer X32 console and Sonar 8 for recording and mixing.
 
I have successfully got the 8 bus faders working in Sonar, but would like to somehow use the other 17 faders (and various other controls).  I have heard reports of other DAWs supporting multiple MACKIE controllers (which Sonar doesn't support), or even the newish OSC protocol.
 
Is X3 any better in this respect?
